Celebrity Apprentice has got some ‘Backbone’ going down on the musical side of this season’s show with the release of “Standing In The Storm.” The world premiere of the ‘Backbone’ single was Friday on the Ryan Seacrest Radio show in Los Angeles with locals getting the first listen. This is one song you won’t forget. In fact don’t be surprised if you are thinking it is one of the best collaborations of 2011. Celebrity Apprentice contestants Meat Loaf, John Rich, Lil Jon and Mark McGrath got together and wrote a song in an attempt to help their charity causes further by doing what they do best and make music.
The four contestants have different musical interests, but together in “Standing In The Storm,” the work comes together in one package that shows just how strong friendships can be with the same focus of helping others. The thought of rock, country and hip hop coming together may not be intellectually possible, but musically, the four have proven it is a whole different story.
Each of the performers has a segment in the song and the fluidness of the song is quite charming. Keeping the audio lively, fun and definitely something worthy of purchasing, the gentlemen of Backbone definitely have a hit on their hands. The song will be sold on iTunes and proceeds will benefit all four celebrities’ charities.
Take a listen to the single in the audio box. We must warn you to be ready to purchase the tune as it is worth it!
