We've talked about Robert Pattinson's picturesque photoshoot for GQ, but don't breeze over Taylor Lautner's all-abs and all-smiles feature for the November issue.

And, as it turns out, with most shape-shifters, like True Blood hottie Sam Trammell, fans will get to see more of Lautner's blessed body in the New Moon new movie out November 20.

In GQ, Taylor reveals a little tease about his character's boy-to-wolf transformations.

"When a man transforms into a wolf, all of his clothes get shredded. When he comes back to human form, he's wearing ripped jeans, and that's about it."

As for his abs, GQ says the 17-year-old's mid-section was the foundation for New Moon.

"The film's entire marketing campaign was built around his new abs," comments the mag.

With tons of weightlifting, P90X and eating every two hours, Lautner did put his best mid-section forward for the flick and co-stars Lautner and Pattinson have said Taylor will take an even more involved role in the third edition.

"I tried to stay focused on the things I could control," Lautner says.

And of his transformational "shredding" of the clothes?

"When [Jacob] comes back to human form, he's wearing ripped jeans, and that's about it. It's the way it was written. The great thing about this series is we stay true to the books."
