Usweekly.com gives fans a photo show of the singer and fashion designers abs through the years with their online feature: "Gwen at 40: How her abs have changed". The photo show reveals Gwen's abdominal transformation from age 19 to now, noting in 1995 the star started showing more skin - And a sleeker middle.

In 1998, Usweekly.com quotes the star as saying she has mostly healthy choices but may cheat "once or twice a day with a cookie or pizza."

But over the years, Gwen Stefani has followed a more strict diet, with organic requests in her dressing rooms and a demand to stay hydrated.

In 2007, TMZ reported Stefani downing at least 30 bottles of assorted water a day - Choices ranging from Fiji to fruit water. 

The same report also listed a full laundry list of dressing room demands, quoting organic veggies, nuts and an assortment of teas. Quite possibly due to the inspiration of losing baby weight and having children, Gwen exited her pregnancy more fit than when she entered.

Usweekly.com says at the time, Stefani confessed that losing the post-baby weight "was tough" after her first son Kingston was born (2006) and did a repeat when she gave birth to her second child Zuma in 2008.
