The critically acclaimed AMC series, “Breaking Bad,” came to a final end on Sept. 29, 2013, and will be missed by many. To bid the iconic show, Walter White, Jesse and the rest of the characters a fond farewell, a number of celebrities took to Twitter to express their feelings regarding the demise of the series.
Filmmaker Kevin Smith (@ThatKevinSmith) wrote, “On a plane back to Los Angeles, currently over Albuquerque. I’m the fat guy waving g’bye to Walter & Jesse from up here.”
Patton Oswalt (@pattonoswalt) tweeted, “Thank you, Vince Gilligan, for conceiving & executing the most bizarre love story I’ve ever seen.”
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s” Rob McElhenney (@RMcElhenney) wrote, “Very happy. Very sad.”
Jimmy Kimmel (@JimmyKimmellLive) penned a message, which read, “Why does it have to end…!”
Kristen Bell (@IMKristenBell) wrote, “My dogs are so depressed this is the last night they will get to watch me watching #BreakingBad :(“
Conan O’Brien (@ConanOBrien) pondered in his tweet whether, “Anyone else thought of chaining Vince Gilligan in a barn to make him come up with another show?”
And if that wasn’t enough, The Daily Beast notes that God (@TheTweetOfGod) Himself tweeted about the "Breaking Bad" series finale, writing, “I hope when I end the world it feels as satisfying as that.”
