Waverly, Ohio is a very small town in Southern Ohio; however, small towns have people with large talent. Lewis Copeland is one such person. Waverly’s population is just over 4,000 and the town is close knit with everyone knowing each other. Lewis Copeland is well-known and loved throughout the community. His love of music and his ability to entertain small, as well as large crowds is something this small town is proud of him for.
Lewis is a very accomplished athlete in his home town. He won state recognition in Ohio's Power Lifting competitions, and also All League and All District Honors in Ohio Football. His success earned him a spot on the Morehead State University's fighting Eagles football team. But music was his true dream.
In 2005 when Lewis was just 20 years old he headed for Nashville to try and get his break in the music business. His band members consist of Tommy Michaels; bass guitar and band leader Les Richardson; electric guitar and vocals Beau Hendricks; lead guitar Shaun Spur; keyboards Jessie Marshall; drums Steve Stokes on fiddle.
While he may not have found national fame as of yet, his hometown roots him on knowing he has the talent and the drive to see his dreams come true. He is starting to be recognized in Nashville for his many musical talents, and his home town of Waverly, Ohio is excited for him.
