Hitting the Orange County Convention Center April 4-6 the Central Florida Home and Garden show has what you need to spring your home to life. All weekend long you’ll be treated to a home improvement extravaganza of great ideas, good deals, innovative products and helpful advice from some of the best people in the business.

The Fresh Ideas Stage will be hopping with the show headliner Ahmad Hassan of DIY networks Yard Crashers. His passion for “getting down and dirty in the garden” tops off a weekend of expert advice that includes FOX 35’s Nate the garden guru from Good Day Sunday and helpful home topics such as saving groceries without clipping coupons, managing clutter, organizing digital photos and even the secret art of creating beautiful home designs yourself. But you don’t have to hang out by the main stage to see the wonderful garden displays created by local vendors, get out and about with Pondtastic Water gardens, Lanai Hardscape and many others filling Hall North B with beautiful ideas and innovative products to highlight any décor.

Many of us have furry friends who love the outdoors just as much as we do and Urban Pet’s Pet Pavilion delivers. With appearances by some of Florida’s top dogs and cool cats, the Pet Pavilion stage will host WKMG’s Jessica Sanchez, Orlando Sentinel’s George Diaz, and OPD K9 officer CB with his partner Tim Stanley to name a few. Missed the presenters? Well that’s alright, because the pavilion has much to offer a best friend including training, treats, fashion, and more.

Want to just check out ideas for your DIY project? Got you covered with four designer rooms created by The International Academy of Design and Technology using repurposed and upcycled items, and don’t forget the Do It Yourself booth #1059 where I will be demonstrating four projects daily with free plans on how you can make all those projects yourself!

Show hours are Friday and Saturday 10am – 9 pm and Sunday 10am – 6pm so bring comfortable shoes and spend the day inspiring, styling and reinventing yourself because nothing puts spring into your step like getting down and dirty! And if you are looking for more free project ideas check out my website with links to my blogs and articles.
