The players in the Cape Cod Baseball League All Star Game may have been the featured attractions in Fenway Park on Wednesday, but a fair number of baseball celebrities also were on hand to observe, comment upon, and otherwise participate in the festivities.
Among the notable were Peter Gammons, Bobby Valentine (photo, right), and Framingham's own Lou Merloni, and the proceedings were informal enough to enable alert fans to share a moment with them as they made their appointed rounds.
Hear this observer’s interviews with the latter two, plus sit-downs with East Division MVP Caleb Ramsey, Commissioner Paul Galop, and other figures of the day -- an audio exclusive produced by friend, colleague, and Portland Sea Dogs Examiner Ken Main and presented courtesy of his popular podcast Fenway Dreams: Down on the Farm.
