St. Patrick's Day is coming up around the corner and here are some ways to celebrate with your family in Tulsa. From special storytimes, Irish dancing, Irish food, and more:

Learn an Irish jig -Ceili Irish Dance welcomes all ages to learn traditional Irish dances for free Mondays 7p.m.-8:30p.m. at Central Center in Tulsa. Please see their website Winter/Spring program guide for more information.

Tulsa Libraries - Wear your green and check out the special St. Patrick's/Irish storytimes at various locations starting on March 11. Please see their website/ event guide for more information.

Irish food -Famously Tulsa has a couple of Irish eateries that are also pubs (Kilkenny's-etc.) but, if you're looking for something a little more low key -You may want to check out Broken Arrow's McHuston Booksellers and Irish Bistro. Please see their website for more information.

St. Pat's Day fun at home -Of course you can always wear green and have your own St. Patrick's Day party- make your own Irish stew or such, have a potato party (baked potatoes and everyone adds their favorite toppings), Green and/or rainbow food party, do some St. Patrick's day crafts, or even just print off and color some St.Patrick's Day coloring sheets.

Have fun and "For each petal on the shamrock this brings a wish your way- Good health, good luck, and happiness, for today and every day" ~ Irish Blessing
