This coming week, May 26 – June 1, includes several new releases, fundraisers, a music festival and a possible television appearance along with the usual great selection of live music choices throughout the week. Music fans have so many options to support Orlando local music, some of them don’t even require leaving the house.

Orlando band Leaving Haven’s IndieGoGo campaign is underway. This is a flexible funding project, so even if the band doesn’t hit their $7000 goal by June 21 they will get the money pledged. The band has some unique perks available including joining the band on stage for a song and a photo shoot with Adam Arnali.

There are still a couple of other ongoing campaigns as well. Billy Wright’s Kickstarter has until June 11 to reach his goal and Landon Pontius’ Kickstarter is running until June 15.

On Tuesday, May 27 local music fans should watch “America’s Got Talent” to see how Orlando singer/songwriter Carly Jo Jackson did with her audition. The show is on NBC at 8 p.m. EST.

There are several CD/EP releases scheduled for this week. The Luna Bellum is releasing their EP on May 30 with a house show. Bob Green is celebrating the release of the Whiskey Conspiracy’s CD, also on May 30, with a show at Belle Isle Yacht Pub and Chasing Jonah’s CD, ”Prelude,” is officially released on Saturday, May 31.

On Saturday, May 30 is the eighth annual Hurricane Party/Music Festival at The West End Live. There will be 50 bands on four stages for this single-day music festival.
