Celebrating New Years on Xbox Live

On December 17th, Xbox kicked off its Countdown to 2014 promotion. During the 15 days leading up to New Year’s Day, Xbox Live will highlight popular games and downloadable content with substantial discounts. The one-day deals are kept hidden until they are available, so Xbox fans will have to tune in every day to find out what is next on the countdown.

The countdown started at 15 with Borderlands 2. The full Borderlands 2 game, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack, the Psycho Pack, the Bloody Harvest DLC, and the Borderlands 2 Season Pass were offered at up to 50% off. Day 14 saw Xbox Live Arcade hits Spelunky, Terraria, and Fez. On the surface, Day 13 seemed somewhat light with only Forza Horizon and its Season Pass taking center stage. However, the day also highlighted a weeklong sale.

The following games and DLC will be available at a discounted price from December 17th to December 23rd:

Day 12 of Xbox’s Countdown to 2014 offers discounts on Castlevania Harmony of Despair, Castlevania: Lord of Shadows Mirror of Fate, Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Xbox fans will have to keep checking the Home screen for upcoming deals as the New Year approaches. Act quickly for the deals will stay behind in 2013.
