The lights are twinkling on the Christmas tree that stands on Salt Creek Grille’s dock to welcome in the holiday season. Enjoy spectacular views of the Navesink River on Christmas Eve if you are planning a get-together with family and/or friends. The festively decorated dining room at Salt Creek Grille is a warm and inviting place to enjoy drinks and a delicious dinner. On Christmas Eve, the bar opens at 3 p.m. There will be a special Christmas Eve dinner menu from 4-9 p.m. and a regular children’s menu. Reservations are suggested. Salt Creek Grille will be closed on Christmas Day.

Or ring in the New Year with friends at Salt Creek Grille’s New Year’s Eve Party from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. There will be an open bar and a special four-course menu replete with party favors, music and a champagne toast for $125.00 exclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are highly recommended. Highlights on the dinner menu include: Ahi Tuna Stack -Sashimi-Style, Stacked with Avocado, Cucumber, Wasabi & Ginger Soy; Surf & Turf - Filet with a Classic Demi-Glace & Brazilian Lobster Tail, Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables; The Grille Chop with Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables and finished with a Spiced Apple Chutney, and the Chef’s assortment of sweets for dessert. Jumping one week ahead for planning your New Year’s Eve festivities, toast goodbye to 2013 and welcome 2014 in with a spectacular Tuscan-style dinner at Ama Ristorante at Driftwood Cabana Club. Ama is currently accepting reservations for dinner from 5 -10:30 p.m. Ama will offer its regular menu as well as memorable specials created especially for New Year's Eve by Executive Chef Pat Trama. Specialties on the menu include: Vitello Tonnato, Venison Proscuitto, Tuscan Black Winter Truffle Risotto, Maine Lobster poached in olive oil and Filet Mignon on the bone. Finishing touches is the pièce de resistance - Dark Chocolate Crema with Gold Leaf, Sea Salt Caramel and Pistachio Gelato.
