Today marks my one year anniversary as a writer with San Jose's Examiner.com, for kids’ nutrition and exercise.
I want to thank San Jose's Examiner.com's team, my subscribers and readers for their dedication and support for my love of writing about nutrition and exercise for kids. Each and everyone of you has given me the support I have needed over this past year to succeed, thank you.
Our family has moved four times within the San Francisco Bay Area in the past year due to employer assignments. As I reflect upon this past year, I realized that keeping up with the nutrition and exercise of our family has been quite the challenge. Not always being successful in a daily challenge of meeting family nutritional and exercise needs and goals has been personally disappointing. Nevertheless I have learned to eventually meet the challenges with the support of my wonderful husband. In the next year I will be able to share my success stories in meeting exercise and nutritional challenges by providing simple ways to meet everyday goals and the knowledge you need about everyday foods.
Believing that an active life and a nutritional life will maintain the health and happiness of a family is the foundation of my presence with San Jose's Examiner. It is the values and knowledge my parents have passed on to me over many years of their own dedication to the health of our family.
In a special thanks to my very healthy parents, in their 70's now, I dedicate my success. They are both physically active on a daily basis and eat very well. They are my inspiration. May everything I have learned from them over time be a blessing to the articles I will be writing here at San Jose Examiner.com.
Looking forward to a second year of success sharing what I have learned in my life regarding nutrition and exercise for kids and families.
