Celebrate Washington’s birthday at Washington Crossing Historic Park

What better way to celebrate George Washington’s 281st birthday than with General Washington himself! On Sunday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., Washington Crossing Historic Park will be celebrating Washington’s birthday with a variety of activities.

General Washington will be there to welcome everyone to his special birthday celebration. Children will be able to participate in crafts, storytelling, a scavenger hunt and even dress up as a colonial. There will be blacksmith work and open hearth cooking demonstrations.

The Marbleheaders will also be there to talk about the famous crossing of the Delaware on Christmas Night in 1776. At 1:30 p.m. visitors will be able to join General Washington for birthday cake and cupcakes.
