If you're not currently in a relationship, or recently separated with your soul mate, then you're probably looking for something fun to do on Valentine's Day. Well luckily for Kansas Citians a certain radio station has provided a night full of entertainment to do away with those lovestruck blues.

The Midland Theater, a stable part of the KC skyline, is playing host to a line up that's sure to bring in people by the masses. The evening will start out with a few smaller bands, that perhaps have not had the chance to win over the radio waves. Paper Tongues for example, have a sound that mixes a large serving of hip-hop with a dash of pop. It's definitely going to be a fresh burst of tunes, not normally heard.

Next on stage is Crash Kings, hailing from [one of] the music capitols of the U.S. - Los Angeles, the band will be getting well acquainted with the Midwestern way of life. This band has an style about them that sets them on the same level as the likes of: The Raconteurs, The Living Things and The Strokes. Rock as our parents knew, with a bit of new century twist.

After another opener, the main act will finally take the stage. This act I speak of is none other than Ok Go. Turning out hits for over 10 years has yet to slow this quartet down. After their huge success of their sophomore album Oh No in 2005, fans old and new have been hammering for more music. So with the recent release of Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, audiences finally have their chance. And with the current touring schedule taking them international both before our show and after, makes this a special treat.
