Gearing up for Valentine's Day, whoever you are, whatever the relationship, it's always about the music. Why not come out to the elegant Palm Court of the Drake Hotel on Thursday, February 7?
'Less fattening than a box of chocolates, prettier than a pear shaped yellow diamond and easier on your wallet than a prix-fixe dinner, The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus presents 'Deep Love,' an unforgettable night of the best of Broadway, the American songbook and cabaret.' It's romantic, fun and just a little bit naughty (dare we say 50 Shades of Gay?). Featuring 18 members of the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus under the musical direction of Jeff-nominated musical director James Morehead.
In its 30th year, with more than 150 singing members backed by a small army of volunteers, the CGMC family covers a diverse cross-section of the Chicago metropolitan area. If you have not been to one of their concerts, this would be a good preview of a very talented group.
Tickets begin at just $35 and are going quickly. Purchase tickets here.
