Every year for at least two decades, we get invited to the Hong Kong Tourist Board’s Chinese New Year celebration party and it’s always a blast with dancing lions, dragons, entertainment and luscious libations and food. Last year it was at the posh Peninsula Hotel and it doesn’t get much better than that. The Chinese really know how to usher in a newyear and the upcoming one is the Year of the Horse. And I must confess that the best Chinese New Year celebration Richard and I ever attended was in Singapore at the Four Seasons Hotel, talk about rockets on high, the sky was filled with eye-blinding fireworks.
