On Thursday, September 16th, The Quarter Bar turns 10.  And to thank Dallas for 10 solid years of eating, drinking and tolerating Saints games on Sundays, the bar's doling out 25 cent draft beers from 4 p.m. to midnight.  That's right, beer for a quarter.  The Quarter Bar will also be handing out Mardi Gras beads and serving Hurricane Booze Pops throughout the night, so schedule a sick day on Friday, because it's going to be quite a party.

To offset your indulgence, bring that old cell phone you've got tucked away in a drawer. The Quarter Bar is working with Phoneraiser.com, a local organization that works to refurbish and recycle cell phones. The money earned for phones collected at The Quarter Bar will be donated to Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest nonprofit no-kill animal welfare organization.  For the entire month of September, customers can exchange an old cell phone for a drink of their choice.

Reduce clutter, save animals AND get a free drink?  It's a win-win-win situation.

The Quarter Bar is located at 3301 McKinney Ave.
