Celebrate the Legacy of Whitney

Almost a year has passed since the iconic R & B artist Whitney Houston left this world but her voice continues to echo. She continues to be heard and felt now as strongly as when she was still alive.

Houston’s whole existence is a tribute to music itself and the tabloid drama, the personal tragedies and countless mistakes she has made don’t make her less of a musical legend. She should be remembered, honored and celebrated.

Until February 28, at the Grammy Museum, Whitney! Celebrating the Musical Legacy of Whitney Houston will do exactly that. The show gives fans and luminaries alike the chance to honor the late singer's life and pay proper tribute to her contributions both on and off the stage.

The Whitney! Celebrating the Musical Legacy of Whitney Houston chronicles the legendary diva's long and storied journey from being a gospel singer to a chart-topping diva and blockbuster actress through various memorabilia. That includes all her albums, private photographs, fan memorabilia and film scripts. It will also be the first time fans will see rare personal properties including Houston's personal bible, a high school yearbook, a 1981 Newark NJ church programs and other notable items.
