From Friday, November 8th to Sunday, November 10th, 2013, the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle transforms into a winter wonderland when the 16th Annual Christmas in Seattle Gift & Gourmet Food Show comes to town.
Among the more than 400 exhibits featured include hand blown glass, metal art, wine barrel furniture and décor, scenic photography, pottery and stonework, hand carved wood furniture, lavender and honey soaps, hand dipped candles, hand crafted jewelry, original art work and paintings, hand crafted holiday ornaments and décor, personalized gifts, silk scarves, alpaca clothing, and garden art. While many of these items are geared for adults, they will also have gifts on hand for children and pets.
Foodies will want to stop by their new feature “Cooking for the Holidays," a series of cooking demonstrations sponsored by Norsk Design and hosted by Culinary Ambassador Keith Jones. In addition, the specialty food area will feature opportunities to sample a range of items available for purchase including hand crafted toffee and candies, jams, nuts, hot chocolate from The Chocolate Box, Anchorhead Coffee, Chocolate Shop Wine, specialty sauces and seasonings, local oil and vinegar, hand crafted soup mixes, hand fired clay cookware and wonderful gourmet food gift sets.
The show runs from 10am to 6pm each day. Tickets are $12.50 for adults with a $2.00 off coupon available at www.ChristmasInSeattleShow.com. Get your hand stamped and return for free all weekend.
