Litchfield located in the heart of the Litchfield Hills in northwest Connecticut has planned a family fun event on July 3 that highlights the town’s love of art, fashion, fine food and music. Now in it's fifth year, the shopkeepers and restaurateurs, artists and musicians participating in Litchfield’s Night Out have organized an event that is the perfect way to celebrate the fourth of July Weekend.
The fun begins at 5 p.m. when the shops of Litchfield that line the historic green throw open their doors to newly created art spaces that feature the work of local, regional and national artists. Receptions with refreshments add to the festive nature of this event. Participating shops with guest artists whose work will be on display and for sale through August 28 artists include: Matthew Best at Ollie's Pizza http://www.olliespizza.com, Olivia Bosson at Bosson Optical http://www.bossonoptical.com, Lisa Brody at @ The Corner http://www.athecorner.com, Jane Doyle & Geoffrey Young at Workshop http://workshoponthegreen.com, Ted Gahl at West Street Grill http://www.weststreetgrill.com, Visko Hatfield at The Village http://www.village-litchfield.com, Camille Hoffman at R.
