Two Kansas City favorites will be coming together this fall season as the Liberty Corn Maze unveils its tribute to 2013 Major League Soccer champions, Sporting Kansas City. The Maze is scheduled to open for the season on this coming Friday, September 5th and will close for the season on November 1st. The Maze's fifty inch wide trail was cut into the field via GPS earlier this summer when the corn had grown to approximately two inches tall. As always, the Maze will feature four distinct mazes of different lengths and difficulties ranging from a total of a mile in length to 2.8 miles long. Contained within each maze are six different check points for people to find. Once you have found all six, it's time to exit the maze and proceed on to another one. There are also smaller mazes in place on the grounds for younger patrons to enjoy at their own pace.
The Liberty Corn Maze is located at 17607 NE 52nd Street in Liberty, MO. Hours for the Maze depend upon the day of the week. On Fridays, gates open at 5 pm and take the final admission at 10 pm. On Saturdays, patrons can visit between 10 am and 10 pm. Sunday's hours range from 10 am to 5 pm. The entry fee will be $10 for adults aged thirteen and up, $10 for ages four to twelve, and free for those younger than four. There is also a season pass available for the one- time fee of $30.
