Celebrate Pisco Day this weekend at Victor Tangos

This weekend, be sure to join your friends at Victor Tangos for a celebration of Pisco Day. For those not in the know, pisco is an aromatic grape brandy made in the winemaking regions of Peru, which is also the birthplace of one of our favorite bartenders Ivan Rimach, currently of Victor Tangos. Since Pisco Day on February 2 is such a popular event over in his home country, Rimach and company thought they’d bring the celebration to our own front door. The event takes place this Friday and Saturday and is sponsored by Pisco Porton. Victor Tangos bartenders will be serving up the finest in pisco themed cocktails, so expect to see lots of pisco sours, as well as eclectic variations, like the Chilcano made with Pisco Porton, ginger tisane, lime juice, and bitters. Or dive into the Maracuya Sour, a nectar like cocktail sporting pisco, limejuice, and passion fruit purée. And since it’s Victor Tangos, there’ll be an offering of delicious matched bar bites whipped up by none other than chef Kristyn Brewer. It’s sure to be two fun-filled nights of eclectic food and drink.
