Lyndsy Fonseca, most known for playing Colleen on “The Young and the Restless" and Alex on “Nikita,” turns 26 years old today (January 7)!
In 2001, Lyndsy Fonseca landed the role of Colleen Carlton on CBS' soap opera “The Young and the Restless.” She appeared in her last episode in 2005.
During her time on the soap and afterwards, she guest starred on several popular shows, including “Boston Public,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” “NYPD Blue,” “Phil of the Future,” “CSI,” “House,” and “Heroes.” She also had a recurring role on HBO’s “Big Love.”
In 2005, Fonseca was cast as Ted Mosby’s daughter on “How I Met Your Mother.” For those unaware of how the show works, the kids are sometimes shown while Ted is telling them a story. These shots include Lyndsy and David Henrie (he plays her brother), while Bob Saget voices older-Ted.
In 2007, the actress was cast on ABC’s popular “Desperate Housewives.” She appeared in the fourth season of the show, playing Dylan Mayfair, daughter to Dana Delany’s Katherine. The season’s mystery revolved around their family. It was one of the series’ best seasons.
In 2010, the beauty was cast in one of the lead roles on The CW’s “Nikita.” She plays Alexandra Udinov (normally just called Alex). The show is now in its third season. Catch new episodes Friday at 8!
