September was designated National Yoga Month in the U.S. in 2008, making this month a great time to practice and promote yoga. Lots of studios and yoga-related businesses are getting on board by offering free classes and special deals in September.

Bikinis & Bellinis will be hosting award-winning nationally certified Pilates instructor Jennifer Phelan for a free 45 minutes Pilates boot camp at Sterling's restaurant in the patio. Get your body right by doing Jennifer's signature total body workout. Sweat, stretch and enjoy a healthy brunch complete with a Bellini bar after class.

This will be on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 9:30a.m. to 10:15a.m. at Sterling's Restaurant in Boston.

Ombe offers free outdoor yoga in Copley Square. Join Ombe for this free outdoor class on the Copley Square lawn adjacent to Trinity Church on September 13th from 9:00am-10:15am. Students are led through a series of dynamic postures designed to open the body and calm the mind. This class is open to students of all levels and ages. Bring your own mat and water.

Monday, September 15, 2014 at 5:30p.m. head over to Atlantic Wharf in Boston. Stay fit with free, fun programs around the Fort Point Channel sponsored by the Friends of Fort Point Channel Join instructor Nancy Rubino from Wave Health & Fitness for an hour of yoga that combines a steady flow of connected yoga postures working in continuous movement with your breath, guided by the rhythm of inhalations and exhalations. Improve your general flexibility, strength, relaxation and meditation. Suitable for all fitness levels, please bring your own mat.
