Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr Day

Today is a day when we celebrate diversity and union. Martin Luther King Jr was a man who believed in the talents and gifts of all people - no matter what their race or color. This is an important trait we need to teach out children. As parents we need to pass on the gift of acceptance regardless of race.

The Mankato Homeschool Examiner has posted a wonderful article on things to do to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr day. Hop on over and check out her article.

Another fun activity is this handprint wreath kids can make. Check out sayings by Martin Lither King Jr.

Please share any activities you have found that would go along with these great activities for kids.
