Celebrate Low Vision Awareness Month by participating in the VisionWalk

Most people know February is Black History Month, or Heart Disease Awareness Month. But did you know it's also AMD/Low Vision Awareness Month?

Consider taking part in AMD (Age-related macular degeneration)/Low Vision Awareness Month by participating in Jacksonville's 6th Annual VIsionWalk.

The Jacksonville VisionWalk takes place April 26 at the University of North Florida. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m.

If you are interested in becoming involved with the VisionWalk but don't know where to start, the Jacksonville VIsionWalk team is looking for volunteers to helo with setup, signups, and more. Contact KMarlow@fightblindness.org for more information on how to get started.
