Celebrate 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Parenthood' star Lauren Graham's birthday (Photos)

Lauren Graham, who currently plays Sarah Braverman on “Parenthood,” turns 46 years old today (March 16)!

Lauren Graham started her TV career with guest spots and recurring roles on several different TV shows, including “3rd Rock from the Sun,” “Good Company,” “Caroline in the City,” “Law & Order,” “Seinfeld,” and “NewsRadio.”

In 2000, Graham was cast in the leading role of Lorelai Gilmore on The WB’s “Gilmore Girls.” The show became very popular and endeared the actress to millions of fans. The show ended its seven year run in 2007.

During her time on “Gilmore Girls," she also made guest appearances in two episodes of “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” and lent her voice to an episode of “Family Guy.”

In 2010, Graham landed the role of Sarah Braverman, one of four siblings, on NBC’s “Parenthood.” The show concluded its fourth season earlier this year and although it’s not a ratings juggernaut, it’s critically acclaimed and has a very loyal fan base.

Celebrate Lauren Graham’s birthday by watching an episode of “Gilmore Girls” or “Parenthood.” Before that, though, be sure to check out the slideshow at the top of the page, which is composed of photos of the actress!
