Celebrate Friday the 13th by watching the 'Friday the 13th' movies backwards

This Friday (June 13) is Friday the 13th, so being that day, of course you have to watch the "Friday the 13th" movies. Most horror fans have seen them, but to spice up the day, watch the movies backwards. Now if you have never seen the movies, I think it would be easier to watch them from the first to the last, but if you feel up for it, then go for it!

My list is going to start with "Jason X," though feel free to start with "Freddy vs. Jason" or the 2009 "Friday the 13th" movie. If you don't like "Jason X" and want to keep it only in the early 90s and 80s, feel free to do that.

Here's the list that I made to watch the series backwards, I started with "Jason X":

  • "Jason X" (2001)
  • "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday" (1993)
  • "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" (1989)
  • "Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood" (1988)
  • "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives" (1986)
  • "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning" (1985)
  • "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter" (1984)
  • "Friday the 13th Part III" (1982)
  • "Friday the 13th Part 2" (1981)
  • "Friday the 13th" (1980)

So you may have to take a vacation that day in order finish all ten movies, but if you can't do that, you can always cut the list in half or only watch the ones you really enjoy. Personally, I think it would be fun to watch the movies backwards, and you can make it a two day event, but be warned celebrating the unlucky day longer though might hurt your luck!

What's your favorite "Friday the 13th" movie?
