Celebrate first full moon of lunar year at Wildwood's Lanterns Festival

Celebrate the first full moon of the lunar year at Wildwood’s Lanterns Festival February 22-24 at the Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Festival runs Friday and Saturday from 6-10 p.m. and Sunday, 6-9 p.m.

A wonderful venue for a special family outing, the Lanterns Festival, Little Rock’s only deep-winter festival, provides a magical evening of music, theater artists, food and beverages,while highlighting eight global cultures.

Lighting the woodland paths to the global vistas of Asia, Bavaria, the Caribbean, Ancient Greece, New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, Shakespeare’s England and Venice, are well-lit fire pits and lanterns.

There is also a special couples package that includes a lantern launch in Venice, wine or beer in Bavaria, beignets and fortune telling in New Orleans, and VIP access. The package costs $30 and is available for purchase through February 15.

Tickets are $5 for children 6-12, and $10 for adults. Children 6 and under can attend free. If you purchase your tickets before February 15, you can attend the Festival any evening you choose, and you will have VIP immediate access to the park. Click here to purchase tickets online.

Wildwood Park is located at 20919 Denny Road in west Little Rock. Shuttle service is available to and from the park at Kroger Marketplace on Chenal Parkway.
