Celebrate the sweet month of February with special offers from San Antonio B-cycle, San Antonio’s bike share program. They are offering discounts on day passes and annual memberships.

The first Valentine’s Day offer is valid from Friday February 14 through Sunday February 16 and involves half price day passes from the regular price of $10 by using promo code “1414” at any B-station kiosk. Annual memberships are the second part of this promotion. During the month of February annual memberships are available at a reduced rate of $14 off of the regular $80 rate. These can be purchased online using the promotional code “bmine.”

San Antonio B-cycle is the newest way to get around town with 53 B-Stations in San Antonio including some at Pearl Brewery, Alamo Plaza and the Convention Center. Since the program started in March 2011 members have logged in over 500,000 miles. This network of bicycles allows people to economically and conveniently avoid traffic and parking problems and reduce pollution. It is also good for their overall health and quality of life.

Interested parties can sign up online or purchase a 24-hour membership, choose a bike from any station, use it and then return it to another station. It’s convenient for short trips around downtown because they are always ready to use without the hassle of upkeep.
