Every Father’s Day, Willow Creek Community Church holds its annual Dad Fest. This free event offers something for everyone and this year fireworks have been added for Saturday night.
Dads are especially celebrated with a free food coupon, an outdoor sports competition and a car show. Featuring great music, family games and plenty of food, Willow Creek offers one of Chicagoland’s biggest celebrations for Father’s Day. Children will enjoy the petting zoo and large inflatables.
Dad Fest kicks off Saturday, June 14, 2014 after their evening service. Located in South Barrington, IL, Dad Fest activities are situated across the ample parking lot areas, lakeside lawn areas, and throughout the main lobbies.
Invite friends, families and especially Dads to come out and celebrate at Willow Creek Community Church.
Senior Pastor Bill Hybels will deliver one of his impactful sermons in his message for Dads. Pastor Hybels says, “One of my favorite week ends of the year – Father’s Day! We call it “DadFest” at Willow and bust it to fire up dads!”
With the many family activities available children will enjoy the giant slides, teens can enjoy a golf range and on Sunday, a petting zoo will be open. Bring a blanket or chairs and hang out on the lakeside lawn.
Pick up a DadFest map, available after any of the weekend services, and check out the full listing of family-friendly activities.
