Celebrate Earth Day for a week at The Michigan Science Center

Earth Day is coming up and The Michigan Science Center is celebrating it with a whole week dedicated to learning all about the world and the environment. Starting April 21th - April 27th, you can easily participate in a variety of activities. Each day focuses on a different topic that would interest children and students of all ages.

The themes, according to the event website, are as follows: April 21 - Animal Habitats, April 22 - Sun/Earth Day, April 23 - Weather Day, April 24 - Oceans, April 25 - Arbor Day, April 26 - Helping our Planet, and April 27 - Caves. On each of these days, there will be activities, demonstrations, and other learning opportunities. The day's events are included with admission price and if you are a member at the museum, you will be able to go every day to enjoy these fun events.

The Michigan Science Center will be opened extra hours from 9-5 during that week (April 21-25th) as well as April 14 - 18 and April 7 - 11. If you cannot make it for Earth Science week, then you can make it easily on Spring Break. Admission for Adults are $13 and Youths are $10.
