Here's your chance to show off your dog (and spend some quality time with him/her) and at the same time enjoy an arts festival. Just attend the Berlin Art Festival & Pooch Parade being held on Saturday, June 28 in Berlin, Ohio in the heart of Ohio Amish country.
Berlin Art Festival & Pooch Parade Sponsored by the Berlin Lions Club & Mainstreet Merchants, this special event will feature a local artisan craft show, a BBQ, live music and a big Pooch Parade at 3 p.m. where your canine friends will get to strut their stuff and possibly win an prize. Prizes will be awarded in the categories of "Best Dressed," "Biggest Dog," "Smallest Dog," "Owner/Dog Lookalike"and "Biggest Ham."
This family-friendly event will also feature activities for the kids, pet crafts, demonstrations and pilot dogs. The Humane Society will also be on hand.
Pet vendors will also be there to offer their pet merchandise for purchase. Food and beverages (in addition to the BBQ) will also be for sale.
Hours for the Berlin Art Festival & Pooch Parade are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.. Admission is free but a $5 donation is requested which will go to the Humane Society.
