How did you get started in your career and/or Organization?

Well it was I have to say ordained before the foundation of the world. My late Bishop E. F. McClellan spoke to my mother while I was yet in her womb and prophesied to her about the female child that she was carrying that would be very significant in the ministry. As time, experiences, and troubles rolled by, several ministries have been formed through the spirit of God in me. The natural job that I have had for the past 35 years as a Registered Nurse in an ICU unit was initially encouraged by a dear best high school friend to seek higher education.

What were some of the cultural influences that made an impact on you?

The cultural influences that have made an impact on me have been the fight for equality brought is our dear Late Dr. Martin Luther King. The women's right movement and the Black Female enhancement of empowerment expansion.

How important is History to you and how has that shaped who you are today?

Knowing where I have come from through my predicators, becoming acquainted with their struggles, seeing the possibilities of where I can go, noting the changing of the times, has lead me to know as I see the success of individuals in this day that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, for all people LEAP FOR IT!! History literally lets us know where and how far we can go!! "GRASP HOLD TO THE VISION!!"

If you could go back in time as one person in Black History who would it be and why?
