Now you can enjoy the maple sugaring season and experience a great pancake breakfast in an unique Amish setting when you pay a visit to Creekside Maple in Middlefield, Ohio on Saturday, March 8 or Saturday, March 15 and attend their Open House and Pancake Breakfast event.
Creekside Maple A 1600 tap operation, Creekside Maple offers visitors the chance to take a sugar house tour where they can learn about the maple syrup making process and take a walk on their nature trail where they can see the sugar maple trees and observe the sap collecting process. Visitors will also be able to sample some of the pure Geauga County maple syrup.
Creekside Maple's maple syrup is made with a slightly lower sugar content and they boil it for longer than the average operation which gives their syrup a bit more density and a slightly darker color.
Don't miss the chance to have a pancake breakfast served in an authentic Amish home located next to the Sugar House. The breakfast includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, eggs, milk, juice and coffee. Price for the breakfast is $8 for adults and $5 for children (5-13). Children under 5 are free. Breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Hours for the Open House are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Visitors will be able to purchase maple syrup, maple candy and a wide variety of other maple products.
