MCHS SHELTER: 14645 Rothgeb Drive, Rockville, MD 20850; Tel: 240-773-5960; www.mchumane.org

Hours to visit the animals: Mon, Tue, Th, Fri 12-7; Sat, Sun 12-5.

Be sure to visit with all the animals at the shelter! And be especially cognizant of the senior pets residing there. These are the pets that usually require special care, humane understanding, and a gentle, loving person willing to give an older pet a second chance to live out its life with a loving family. Please consider adopting a senior pet...cat or dog...and you will reap the rewards that only an older pet can give. All homeless pets want forever homes. Won't you open your heart and your home to a shelter dog or cat?
