Tom Hiddleston turns 32 today. Tom was born on February 9, 1981 in London, England.
Before getting roles in popular American films, Tom had roles in a few different British TV series, including “Suburban Shootout” and “Wallander.”
In 2011, Tom hit the American big screen when he gained one of the starring roles in “Thor.” Tom plays Loki, Thor’s evil brother. The role immediately gained Tom attention and fans.
Also in 2011, Tom had one of the roles in Woody Allen’s fantastic film “Midnight in Paris.” Tom plays famous American author F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1920s Paris. He also had the starring role in the film “The Deep Blue Sea” the same year, as well as a role in Steven Spielberg’s “War Horse.” 2011 was a very popular year for Tom and gained him much attention.
In 2012, Tom reprised his role as Loki in the megahit “The Avengers.” Loki is the main villain in the film. Changing it up a little, in 2012 Tom also had one of the main roles in the TV mini-series “The Hollow Crown.”
In the coming couple years, Tom is set to star in multiple films, so keep an eye out for him.
