When you think of Wyoming, you immediately think of wide open spaces, cowboys and horses. But there's another side to Wyoming: it's rich musical heritage.
Young Musicians, Inc., is non-profit organization whose aim it is to bring music and the arts to Southwest Wyoming. One successful way that they do this is by hosting the annual Ceili at the Roundhouse Celtic Festival each March in Evanston, which draws crowds from all over Wyoming, Utah and other neighboring states.
The event hosts musicians and bands specializing in Celtic music. Workshops are offered throughout the day on topics such as Celtic Leather Working by Celtic Bazaar, Fiber Arts, Learning Irish Dance, and Introduction to the Dulcimer and Bodhran. Plus the event boasts a large variety of different vendors selling wares ranging from handmade leather items to handmade jewelry pieces and everything in between. You can even enjoy the music while relaxing with a wonderful massage by Holland Heart and Hands. Each evening a special concert is held with a big-name headlining band or group, followed by a jam session that goes well past midnight. This year's headliners are “Goitse” from Ireland at 8pm on Friday, 22 March 2013, and the Battlefield Band playing at 8pm on Saturday, 23 March 2013.
Entrance fee is $5 per adult and $3 per child, payable at the door. Yes, that's right! The Ceili at The Roundhouse Celtic Festival is an indoor event! Which is awesome considering that March is still typically very wintery in Evanston.

The Ceili (Irish for party or celebration) will start at 4pm on Friday, 22 March 2013 and will run until midnight on Saturday, 23 March 2013.
