Cee Lo Green is being sued by Cierra Management Group for reportedly not fulfilling two concert performances that was agreed upon. According to TMZ on Feb. 8, Cierra wants $14.2 million from the singer.
Cee Lo’s representatives approached Cierra Management Group in November 2011 with a proposition. The representatives for Cee Lo wanted to do a tour called “12 Days of Christmas.”
In order to do this Cierra would need to pay $100,000 up front for each concert. This was too high for Cierra so they knocked it down to six days at $100,000 each. This was still way too much. A final offer of two concerts for a total of $243,000 was offered and Cierra agreed.
There is only one problem. These concerts never even happened. Cierra believes that Cee Lo’s representatives never intended to even perform the concerts.
Cee Lo Green is not being considered a part of this so-called conspiracy, only his representatives. Unfortunately Cee Lo is being sued for allegedly refusing to perform the two concerts agreed upon. Cierra Management Group doesn’t just want the $243,000 agreed upon. They now want $14.2 million. Do you think Cee Lo should be held responsible? Sound off in comments below.
