CeCe and Alvin Love appeared as hosts on TBN Wednesday night, and interviewed assistant pastors, Louis and Andrea Mellini of Perfecting Church to discuss lasting marriage tips; Andrea is Donnie McClurkin’s sister.
CeCe and Alvin have been married for 27 years. Better known as CeCe Winans, recording artist, she and husband Alvin, are an example to the Body of Christ of lasting love.
The Mellini’s have been married for 23 years and are an interracial couple. Assistant Pastor Louis Mellini, who is Italian, gives revelation knowledge from the book of the Ephesians in chapter 5 that speaks of how a man should love his wife. He explains how Christ loved the church even when we were not perfect, even when we were going through difficulties and when we were unlovable.
That is how Mellini describes how a man should love his wife: even if she is not perfect, even if she's not always right and even if she is unlovable. The audience applauded after hearing this profound revelation out of the book of Ephesians.

Some excerpts from those 10 verses: Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord; husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church... So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself… This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
