CBS show 'Hawaii Five-0' gets the green light for season 5

CBS drama series "Hawaii Five-0" has been renewed for a 5th season. The show received a ratings boost in its new Friday night time slot. The show previously aired on Monday night.

According to the March 12, report by The Hollywood Reporter, several shows were picked-up for another season, including long-running comedy and drama series.

Reportedly, "The Friday night combo of Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods, proved fruitful for CBS this season. Hawaii Five-0 improved its ratings lot in its move from Monday. The two stand as the most-watched scripted series on the increasingly competitive night." The following shows were renewed for one or more seasons.

No decision for the renewal of CBS shows', "The Crazy Ones" starring Robin Williams, "The Mentalist" starring Simon Baker and new mid-season premiere show, "Friends with Better Lives."
