CBS renews 'Criminal Minds' and 19 other programs

According to an article published by CBS on March 13, the hit show “Criminal Minds” has been renewed for its 10th season, which is set to air during the 2014-2015 season.

CBS reports that officials have decided to bring “Criminal Minds” back for Season 10. “Criminal Minds” follows the stories of a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit. It first aired in September 2005, and has remained hit ever since.

“Criminal Minds” is one of 20 series returning to CBS for the 2014-2015 season. The others include “NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “CSI, Hawaii Five-0,” “Blue Bloods,” “Elementary,” “The Good Wife,” and more.

CBS also signed a three-year broadcast deal with “The Big Bang Theory,” and agreed to bring back the long-running reality series “Survivor” for two more editions.

There has been no word on which of the cast members of “Criminal Minds” plan to return for Season 10.
