CBS 'Hawaii Five-0' Kono finds Adam & they return home

The 1970's remake of “Hawaii Five-0” (CBS) can be seen each Friday evening at 9/8 p.m. Last night's episode on Jan. 10, 2014 was called, “O kela me keia manawa.” In the overnight TV ratings it grabbed 10.44 million TV viewers overall. It reached 1.5 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Shark Tank” (ABC) grabbed 7.31 overall & 2.1 with adults. “Grimm” (NBC) nabbed 5.23 overall & 1.3 with adults.

Hawaii Five-0” stars, Alex O'Loughlin (Steve McGarrett), Scott Caan (Danny 'Danno' Williams), Daniel Dae Kim (Chin Ho Kelly), Grace Park (Kono Kalakaua), Masi Oka (Dr. Max Bergman) & Michelle Borth (Catherine Rollins).

“O kela me keia manawa” opened with Jack Anderson who is the owner of the “hideaway bar.” Two muscle men come in covered with tattoos & they start a fight with a male patron. Jack asks them to leave while holding a baseball bat. He closes the bar for the night & it appears that the two muscle men attack & beat him.

Kono has traveled to Seattle, Washington over the Christmas holidays. She finds Adam who fled Hong Kong after being kidnapped. It is an emotional reunion as she tells him that it is over. His brother's gang is no longer seeking him out for death.

One of the muscle thugs named Gus was stabbed to death. Jack Anderson disappears. Chin Ho finds out that the other gang member named Dennis was found beaten & is in the hospital. “Five-0” questions Dennis who says that Jack surprised him with professional hand to hand combat. He also stabbed Gus in self defense.

Chin Ho discovers that Jack Anderson is an alias name. His real name is Jack Mitchell & is wanted by the FBI for murder in the state of Illinois. He has been a fugitive for the last 20 years for hitting a woman in a getaway car after a robbery. Jack was a former green beret in the Gulf War back in 1991. “Five-0” questions Jack's wife who didn't know who or what her husband is & did.

Chin Ho goes to the home of Gus. He discovers that Gus & Dennis were paid $10,000 to go to Jack's bar to kill him. It was a contract hit. Chin Ho goes to the hospital to question Dennis about who hired him.
