“Five-0” investigates on the street where a man named Bruce Paloma is found dead at the center of an intersection. Bruce worked at the medical center whose car was jacked. A unknown person on the motorcycle opened Bruce's car trunk & stole a human body part.

Catherine was in the field at the country of Afghanistan several years ago. She was seriously wounded & Amir found her. He took her into his home so she could recover from a fatal bullet wound. There was no match.

Catherine & Steve arrive on horse back to a tiny village in Afghanistan. They later track blood in a field to find Amir shot & leaning against a tree. He went out alone to fight the Taliban who kidnapped his son.
