Pe'epe'e Kãnaka” opened with a male pool worker traveling to his next job. He brings his equipment & finds the keys to the front door. As he unlocks the side door he is gunned down with a spray of gun bullets. Kono tells Steve that the pool guy's name is Nikko. An elderly couple owns the house which has been empty for one month.

They find that someone has been hanging cut-out trees from the ceiling of the elder's kitchen. Dr. Max Bergman says that the pool guy was shot from the inside & the killer fled the scene. Nothing was stolen from the house. A neighbor saw someone drop a plastic bag off near the elders home. They found paint thinner in the trash bag & Steve thinks the pool guy walked in on someone making Crystal meth.

Chin Ho finds out on the computer about a young man named Joseph Sun who is a chemical major. He rents an apartment near the university campus. Steve thinks that Joseph might have used the elder's home to make the meth instead of at his own apartment. Chin Ho & Steve chase Joseph onto a roof where he jumps to his death. They find that the chemicals in the bottle are mixed to make a bomb instead of meth.

Kono cracks into Joseph's computer into several encrypted files. She found emails from Joseph to an Al Qaeda extremist. Those emails go back one full year. Joseph was being brain washed to hate his own country & sacrifice his life for the cause of extremism. Chin Ho finds out that Joseph took several plane trips to the country of Yemen with another American named Brian Miller. Both students have no criminal history & they are not on the radar of the FBI.

Why does Brian pull out a machine gun on the “Five-0 team?” Are there more than two of these students who have gone extreme terrorist? You can watch the full episode of “Pe'epe'e Kãnaka” at the official website of “Hawaii Five-0.”
