No Lack of Void” opened with Sherlock practicing his Irish accent in his home as Dr. Watson goes to see Marcus at the police station. Captain Gregson asks Watson to check a male pick pocket who spent the night in jail. She puts on a pair of plastic gloves & checks the man's heart pulse. He is dead & then she pulls him over. Blood fluid falls out of his mouth & she tells the captain to step back. The man died from anthrax.

The male professional pick pocket asked people to sign up for a fictional charity while handing out fliers. He steals from those people as they sign his clipboard. He accidentally bumps into a large male & picks up an empty sun-glass case which Sherlock believes might be carrying the anthrax. The pick pocket thought he swallowed a bag of cocaine which it was not.

The large man who was pick pocketed is Charley Simon. He used to work at “Columbia Medical School” which holds anthrax for research. His landlord said that Charley took a lot of walks at night. Sherlock asks if Charley was connected to terrorist activities. They believe he walks to the medical school to use a lab for that anthrax.

Watson finds out that Charley had a storage unit close by. She suggests that he might have tried to send the anthrax to his ex-wife. Charley is found shot dead in that storage unit. He had produced 40 pounds of anthrax which goes missing. The police found a second set of finger prints belonging to Eugene Macintosh. He was a former prison cell-mate of Charley. Eugene is an extremist who hates the government, the NYPD & might be responsible for killing Charley to steal the anthrax.

Can the NYPD track down Eugene before he unleashes the anthrax? Does Eugene go after the police first or the government? You can watch the full episode of “The Lack of Void” at the official website of “Elementary.”
