The Huffington News reports a story a story about an NFL team that got thrown under the team bus on Sunday. WKMG, an Orlando, Florida CBS affiliate apologized to NFL fans for having to show the inept Jacksonville Jaguars lose to the Oakland Raiders in a 19-9 borefest.
NFL fans outside of Orlando watched the anticipated battle of Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos matching up with little brother Eli’s New York Giants. WKMG ran a message on the screen letting fans know they were required to show the Jaguars game and they apologized for any inconvenience.
So how dismal are the Jaguars? Since 2008, they are 27-55 (including their current 0-2 record). This means the Jaguars only win 33 percent of their games. In the NFL, that kind of percentage gets coaches fired. It’s so bad in Florida, that fans want Tim Tebow on the team.
Apparently, their new meaner looking Jaguar logo hasn’t help them get many wins. Even John Oehser, a senior writer for Jaguars.com says on their website that “the Jaguars aren’t good right now.”
