Cazadores Gin-Ger-Rita drink recipe a real winner

Gin-Ger-Rita Drink Recipe with Cazadores, Bombay Sapphire Gin and Drambuie Liqueur - photo courtesy Bacardi

The Fourth Bacardi Cruise Competition chose a tequila cocktail as their frozen category winner in last year’s competition. This unique combination uses Cazadores Reposado Tequila, Bombay Sapphire Gin and Drambuie Liqueur. In an informal poll conducted on Twitter and Facebook, five ingredient cocktails seem to be the magic number for consumers to recreate at home. Even though this cocktail uses eight ingredients to build, all of the ingredients are easily located in markets nationwide making this drink an easily accessible mixer.

Gin-Ger-Rita – created by Kiran Aguiar, Bartender, Norwegian Sky – Norwegian Cruise Line
Splash of Grenadine
Splash of Ginger Ale
1 part Margarita Mix
1/2 Fresh Squeezed Lime
1 Lime Wheel

Blend Cazadores Reposado Tequila, Bombay Sapphire Gin, and all other ingredients with ice.  Pour into a margarita glass and add a dash of Drambuie Liqueur.  Garnish with a lime wheel.

Four more Cazadores margarita recipes to keep the mixing tin busy include Cilantro Margarita, Cucumberita , Pineapple Serrano Margarita and the 5 Gallon Margarita for the never ending party. Find more information about Tequila CAZADORES & Cinco de Mayo and CAZADORES "Ultimate" Shot Drink by following the link.
