The latest official word on twitter confirms Cavashawn will be headlining a five band show at Stadium Bar and Grille. According to @danalbertmanage and his official blog, Cavashawn will be performing at 8:00pm in Oxford, OH for Green Beer Day. This show marks the return of one of Miami University’s most successful acts to emerge from the local music scene. Many former students remember the band (who began performing as Premium) who quickly became a favorite in the local bar scene. The group earned much acclaim in Cincinnati performing at festivals and opening for the likes of July For Kings. This was just the beginning for the band, as they quickly rebranded to become Marking Twain while perfecting their craft. Next the chance to reach a national audience would come when the band moved to Chicago and began performing as Cavashawn. Since that time it is unlikely you will find a harder working band. The group continues to play non-stop shows across the country while effectively using social media to reach and connect with their audience.
This Thursday after a morning of green beverages and bar hopping, be sure to get in your mid afternoon nap. You will not want to miss a chance to hear Cavashawn perform songs from their White [EP]. In addition, Dan Albert Management has arranged an entire day of great artist to perform at Stadium Bar and Grille. So take some time out during your Green Beer Day festivities to hear the music of South Jordan, The Truants, The Heyday, and State and Madison.
