Seattle-based rapper Freddy E tweeted about his issues and heart ache just shortly before he died, and on Jan. 7, 2013, the King County medical examiner’s office announced his death was a suicide.
Freddy, 22, whose given name was Frederick Eugene Buhl, maintained a popular YouTube channel called Jerk TV and was signed to rapper Tyga’s music label, according to CBS News.
In the moments before his death from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Freddy wrote on his Twitter page, “I’m sorry………..” followed by, “… been a long time since I’ve gone through heart break. It’s a cold unforgiving world if I do say.”
Not long after he wrote, “If there’s a God then He’s calling me back home. This barrel never felt so good next to my dome. It’s cold & I’d rather die than live alone.”
Freddy’s final tweets on Jan. 5 read, “It’s… all… bad… y’all. *puts finger around trigger*” and then he wrote about the love for his family, asked God for forgiveness, and simply said, "I'm sorry."
Fans have speculated that Freddy’s despair was over a recent break-up he had with a female rapper, Honey Cocaine, but CBS notes that has yet to be confirmed.
Nevertheless, Zap2It.com reports that Kat Stacks called Honey a “murderer” in one of her tweets that has since been deleted, writing, “Murderer. She don’t even sound remorseful SMH… Instead of worrying about defending your image of being a murderer, she should be focused on his soul.”
Honey took to her Twitter page to defend herself, writing, “…You know nothing about our friendship or the story, hate me if you feel… We loved each other… Say it’s my fault, threaten me… I knew him well enough to know he had other things happening… I was there for him… I said some foolish things cause I thought he was joking… This is crazy…”
She added, “…RIP my angel, my condolences…”
Later, Kat seemed to back down from her initial tweets, writing, “I shouldn’t of had said that, my apologies to the grieving girlfriend.”
